Ever seen Bible on stage? Don’t miss your chance in Berlin this autumn. “Luther dancing with the gods” by Robert Wilson is based on Martin Luther’s Bible. Tickets are still available for 6-12 of October! Octoberfest folk festival takes place around the same time – why not combine culture with some high-quality beer.
If you haven’t made it to the David Hockney exhibition in London, you still have a chance to catch it in Paris until the 23 of October – at Centre Pompidou. David himself will celebrate his 80th Birthday this year. In tune with modern tendencies, he has been experimenting with iPhone and iPad drawings, which the exhibition showcases. The museum is opened until 11pm – great chance to catch a gorgeous Parisian sunset on its roof!
To go all the way to Denmark to try the best hotdog – yes, people do that. Mostly because Northern Europe’s biggest food festival is hosted in Aarhus and will take place on 1-3 of September. The festival’s official webpage doesn’t feature an English version, but tasty food doesn’t really need a translation.
October 18th, Tate Modern: opening of “Ilya and Emilia Kabakov: not everyone will be taken into the future.” Kabakovs are Russian-born conceptual artists known for their pioneering large-scale environments and installations. You can explore this major exhibition that focuses on the theme of “failed utopia” until 28 January 2018.
The Rolling Stones will play thirteen shows in twelve different venues across Europe in September and October. Official sale was over within a couple of hours of the opening, but one can still find reasonably-priced tickets on resellers’ websites. Make sure you don’t put off booking accommodation and looking up transport arrangements – it’s madness out there!
